Kmart Double Coupons At Select DC Stores 7/4/10 – 7/10/10

Select Kmart stores are doubling manufacturer coupons for just Health & Beauty products up to and including $2 from Sunday July 4, 2010 – Saturday July 10, 2010 with a limit of 5 total coupons doubled per customer, per day. And apparently, you need the new Kmart Shop Your Way rewards card in order to participate in the Double Coupons promotion. You can sign up for free in the store or online here.

To view a complete list of participating stores click here.

I was thrilled to see that numerous DC-area stores are listed as participating including some of the following:

In Northern Virginia:

  • Annandale, VA
  • Chantilly, VA
  • Fairfax, VA
  • Fredericksburg, VA
  • Front Royal, VA
  • Herndon, VA
  • Manassas, VA
  • Springfield, VA
  • Winchester, VA
  • Woodbridge, VA

In Maryland:

  • Baltimore, MD (5 locations)
  • Crofton, MD
  • Gaithersburg, MD
  • Greenbelt, MD
  • Hyattsville, MD
  • Oxon Hill, MD
  • Prince Frederick, MD
  • Silver Spring, MD

There should hopefully be some great coupon match-ups for the DC region because we tend to be heavy on the $1+ coupons in our newspaper coupon inserts (while some other regions tend to get more coupons below the $1 mark it seems).

Thanks Southern Savers and My Frugal Adventures!

That’s a great deal, but how do they determine if it is a health and beauty coupon? Seems like it could vary what coupons are accepted.

      Good question Marie.
On the Kmart website it has a category for “Beauty & Health” products here. From what I can tell, it should include products for: Eyes, Lips, Face, Nails, Spa, Sun Care, Skin Care, Bulk Beauty, Fragrance, Hair Care, Bath & Body, Shaving & Hair Removal, First Aid, and Over-the-counter medication.
I think the “health” category should also cover vitamins, eye drops, deodorant, etc. Generally items that are down the aisles of the health and beauty care section of the store. If you have a great coupon that you’re unsure about being “Health” or “Beauty”, try bringing it in on your shopping trip and ask at customer service or ask your cashier at check-out.
